IPod Help NEEDED big time!!!!!!!!!?

Okay... so last night I left a new alarm clock app on my ipod and put it on the charger. The alarm clock was rated 4 stars plus, I had the newest version, and after reading 5 pages of comments on it no complaints or info about crashing. And when I woke up and took my ipod off the charger... the ipod apple sign (the one you see when you turn an ipod touch on) was blinking in between glimpses of my typical ipod background. So I backed it up, restored it, and redid the backup so my ipod was back to normal mnus the pics and videos. Then my ipod contined doing it. I had the newest up to date with everything.... iPod touch itself version and iTunes version. I take good care of my iPod touch. Rarely drop it and have a nice case on it and my ipod hs no crack or scratches. I haven't hadn't for more than 6 months and not even that long. I charge my ipod every night and have a screen protector on there. What do I do now!!!! Has this happened to anyone yet? I need SERIOUS help!!!!!!!!!!
